With any type of hair extension method, the number one asked question is always, “How hard are they to maintain?”
Let's break down how to take care of your extensions, starting with the most popular of methods...TAPE-INS!
Tape-In extensions are one of the newer, less damaging and totally customizable methods of hair extensions currently on the market. They are comprised of small 1 in. adhesive wefts that are placed onto your hair using a “sandwich” like method. These types of extensions can be used to fill in “holes” in the hair, add fullness and/or length, and enhance hair color.
Typically tape-ins should be moved up or re-taped every 6-8 weeks depending on your hair type/ how often you wash your hair. The more you wash, the quicker the potential for tapes to slip.
